With every piece of content we publish, we aim to:
- Empower. Organizations come to the Center seeking information that will help them improve their practice, and the Center seeks to encourage them to find the right solution for their needs.
- Educate. The Center wants people to look to them for information that will positively impact their practice and the quality of care for individuals.
- Innovate. Life-long learning and exploration is at the core of the Center’s identity, and it is up to us to encourage our clients to seek progress through research and innovation.
- Collaborate. The Center seeks to build long-term partnerships with our clients to develop more effective recovery-oriented care for all.
In order to achieve those goals, we make sure our content is:
- Inviting. Our content needs to be inviting but written with a warm but authoritative voice, to encourage potential clients to engage the Center to talk about their challenges and to pursue a partnership with us.
- Challenging. Research and progress doesn’t happen if people don’t ask questions. Our content should engage users in ways that challenge convention by leveraging newer research and evidence.
- Clear. Be authoritative and be clear with your writing. Use simple words and sentences.
- Reliable. Always pay attention to the details and update your content frequently. Nothing is more frustrating for your users than information that is out-of-date or incorrect.
